This release is provided with two types of binary downloads. The first is "plain" and does not include a Java Development Kit (JDK), so you need to have JDK 11 installed already:
mellite_{version}_all.zipis platform neutral. You will find shell scriptsmellite(for Linux and OS X) andmellite.bat(for Windows) in thebindirectory.
The second set of files include OpenJDK 11 (source: http://adoptopenjdk.net/):
mellite-full_{version}_linux_x64.zip(for Linux 64-bit Intel/AMD)mellite-full_{version}_win_x64.zip(for Windows)mellite-full_{version}_mac_x64.zip(for Mac)mellite-full_{version}_amd64.debis a Debian package. You install it viasudo dpkg -i mellite-full_{version}_x64.deb. This is the preferred method on Debian and Ubuntu, since it will add an executablemelliteto your system and a desktop shortcut with icon. To uninstall, runsudo apt remove mellite.
For Raspberry Pi (arm architecture), use the plain download. On Raspbian Buster (full) you already have JDK 11 and SuperCollider server installed, and thus you are immediately ready to go. Otherwise you need apt packages openjdk-11-jdk and supercollider.

PraxisLIVE is a hybrid visual live programming IDE, rethinking general purpose and creative coding.
PraxisLIVE v4.4.0 primarily involves under-the-hood changes as we gear up towards PraxisLIVE v5. It also brings some helpful UI improvements and a major change in how containers work.
The bundled JDK in the default installers is still Java 8, although there is an experimental Windows installer with Java 11. There is no macOS bundle with JDK 11 yet due to Processing crashes found in testing. It is possible to use the Zip bundle with a JDK of choice for experimentation.
NB. Use of PraxisLIVE / praxislive without the space is now consistent, and reflected in installation folders and binary names. This should only affect you if you have custom shortcuts to the IDE.

This is the first update to OpenMPT 1.29, addressing a number of new and old issues found in the previous release:
- Tempo tap usually broke and wrapped around to 32 BPM after several taps.
- Hide empty removable drives in the tree view.
- Offline / slow network shares could slow down filling of the drive list in the tree view, which could also dramatically affect OpenMPT startup time.
- Fix wrong VU meter color at end of OPL notes.
- Qxy now retriggers OPL notes if new compatibility flag is set.
- Bring back old OPL note end-of-envelope behaviour for files made with OpenMPT 1.28.
- IT global volume slides with both nibbles set preferred the "slide up" nibble over the "slide down" nibble in old OpenMPT versions, unlike other slides. Such old files are now imported correctly again.
- Fixed an edge case where, if the filter hit full cutoff / no resonance on the first tick of a row where a new delayed note would be triggered, the filter would be disabled even though it should stay active.
- Some sample loops in OXM files were not imported correctly.
- Out-of-range arpeggio clamping behaviour for XM files broke in OpenMPT 1.23.05.00. The arpeggios in Binary

Linux users may try the new AppImage based packaging, which also includes an embedded JDK from AdoptOpenJDK, or use the zip bundle that uses the system installed JDK. Quite a few new opcodes are in this release as well as extensions of
existing opcodes. In particular there is the introduction of streamed
LPC which has long been requested.
Another feature if this release is a large number of internal fixes to
incorrect data access, as well as the usual tweaks and changes.
Starting from this release, no third-party graphic frontends are shipped
with the installation packages on MacOs and Windows. Users should
install their choice of frontend separately.

rtpmidid allows you to share ALSA sequencer devices on the network using RTP MIDI
rtpmidid is a Linux daemon that bridges between the ALSA sequencer and another RTP MIDI compatible network connected system. This allows to use MIDI over Ethernet for Linux systems.
This new version features compatibility with Apple systems (iOS and MacOS), enhances compatibility with rtpmidi for Windows, and debuts the librtpmidid library.
rtpmidid 20.07 comes with these new features:
- Compatibility with Apple RTP MIDI implementation: Mac OS and iOS.
- Improved stability.
- Basic CLI interface. Uses a Unix socket and JSON so other frontends could exist.
- Separate, LGPL2.1 library for the rtpmidi protocol.
In this version the librtpmidid library is introduced. The library is licensed with LGPL 2.1, with the idea of encouraging third parties to include rtpmidi support in their products. It is very sad that there are a lot of hardware devices with networking support, WiFI or Ethernet, but they opt for private interfaces that are buggy and difficult to interconnect to. I'm looking at you AKAI MPC One (literally, it's here on my desktop) and your AKAI Network Driver. If you were compatible with rtpmidi you would just work on Apple Devices, and with a third party installation on Windows and Linux. And MPC could use your massive MIDI

This second release candidate was primarily created for packaging DiscoDOS into Debian Linux. It turned out that some of those changes appear useful in Windows and macOS packages as well.
This is a source only release though - for Windows and macOS packages please get rc3 above.
This release (v1.0_rc2) will, if all goes well, be available in Debian GNU/Linux unstable distribution and be installable simply doing apt install discodos. Debian is the basis for a lot of other distros too and hopefully DiscoDOS will make it in those soon. My hopes are up for Ubuntu's October release (20.10) and thus its "childs" Linux Mint, Ubuntu Studio, etc..
Release notes:
- The separate DiscoDOS setup program vanished, which simplifies installation:
- All necessary setup-steps run automatically when disco command is launched the first time (download - unzip - run - done)
- All the setup program functionality was moved to a subcommand of disco, which, if necessary, can still be launched by the user "on demand" (run "disco setup")
- Loads of documentation was added/updated/improved (README.md, MANUAL.md, INSTALLATION.md, CONTRIBUTION.md)
- disco mix command:
- Fix use mix-names multiple times
- discosync command:
- Fix ordering of available backups in restore and show commands
- Changes under the hood

This release adds automatic BPM sync option. It can be disabled by adding autoSyncBpm=false to your connection.properties file. After changing BPM on a DAW the plugin will send request to the ninjam server to change BPM on there as well. Also now after the BPM was changed on the ninjam server then the plugin sends OSC message /tempo/raw [int] and it can be used to change BPM on a DAW. MIDIMonster is a universal control and translation tool
This release includes the new RTP MIDI backend, which allows users to interact with a wide
variety of devices communicating MIDI over the network.
For most backends and functionality, this release serves as possible release candidate and
baseline for version 1.0.
The ALSA MIDI backend has removed support for the deprecated early channel specification syntax.
The OSC backend has been extended to allow reception of OSC bundle data.
The maweb backend now supports specifying multiple fallback remote addresses and will periodically
try to reconnect to any of them when a connection fails.
The Lua backend now supports routing all channel events to a single function using the
default-handler functionality. Additionally, a cleanup handler function can be registered
to be run when the MIDIMonster is shut down. The Lua output API can now be called during the
initial parse step, output values are cached and routed as soon as processing starts.
Channel handlers can now access the previous value of the channel using the input_value API,
with the current value being the argument to the handler. Lua functions can now be run as thread-like
coroutines, allowing for cooperative multithreading.
The Python backend now supports routing all channel events to a single
