Radium is a music editor with a tracker and sequencer and mixer interface.
Changes 6.9.64 -> 6.9.66:
- Audio: Fix random data sent out of "System In"
instruments when not using jack and the soundcard
has less input channels than the "System In"
instrument has output channels. - Audio: Fix losing the jack port names of
"System in" and "System out" instruments when a
song is saved when not running jack. This caused
the message "Could not register jack port" when
later loading the song using jack. - MIDI: Possible fix for rare situations of hanging
notes. - Soundfile renderer: Don't close dialog window if
we couldn't save file. - Soundfile renderer: Don't allow overwriting an
audio file currently used by the program. - Soundfile renderer: Ask yes/no if trying to
overwrite an existing audio file. - Sequencer: Don't show assertion reporter when
loading a song with an audio file that has become
shorter than last time. Instead just show a note
in the message log window. - MIDI: More fine-grained locking and prevent
priority inversion when sending midi from main
thread. - Audio: Turn off realtime priority when rendering
audio file. - API: sendMidiMessage, openMidiOutputPort,
closeMidiOutputPort, openMidiInputPort,
closeMidiInputPort, closeAllMidiInputPorts,
getMidiOutputPortNames, getMidiInputPortNames.

OpenMPT is a popular tracker software for Windows
This small update to OpenMPT 1.29 is mostly a bugfix release, but also adds some new keyboard shortcuts and improves existing features. Here are the most important changes:
- Added keyboard shortcuts for adding and removing channels.
- Splitting a stereo sample into two mono samples wastes less memory.
- On some systems, the OPL patch editor caused keyboard shortcuts to stop working.
- When activating the comments tab, the keyboard focus is set to the text editor to improve accessibility.
- Some samples or OPL patches were imported with a too high sample rate in S3Ms saved with Scream Tracker 3.
- Only force to rescan MIDI devices after receiving a device change notification from the system. Might fix a crash with buggy MIDI drivers.
- Support loading 64-bit PCM and floating-point WAV files as a module.
- Fixed possible crash when loading malformed floating-point WAV file that claimed to have a bit depth of 8 bits or lower as a module.
- Properly resize text labels on main toolbar according to actual font size used.
- Some keys were missing when resetting the default keymap.

Ossia Score is a free, open-source, cross-platform intermedia sequencer
Let's celebrate Oscar (our dear mascot)'s birthday !
New features- Official builds for Raspberry Pi 3/4. See the user manual for more information on how to run score on the Pi.
- WebAssembly port to allow running ossia score in a web browser (very experimental). Check it out here: https://ossia.io/score-web/
- It's now possible to create a cable between two ports by selecting the first port and then doing ctrl / cmd-click on the second (needed for WASM which does not support drag'n'drop).
- Updated to libremidi, the RtMidi/ModernMidi fork which also supports WASM and a bunch of new features :-)
- RemoteControl now reports the current position for each interval and a few other things. See https://ossia.io/score/features/remote-control.html for the WS API being used, and https://github.com/ossia/score/blob/master/src/plugins/score-plugin-remotecontrol/js-remote/remote.html for an example.
- Implement support for renaming nodes in states.
- Allow to disable audio plug-in (LV2, VST, Faust) loading by an environment variable (
SCORE_DISABLE_AUDIOPLUGINS) in case some are behaving badly upon load.
- Improved shader version detection for GL to match what Qt RHI does.
- Lot of work for VST3 support, most VST3 should now run / load / save correctly. Please report any issue !
- macOS: now works under 10.13 again

OpenMPT is a popular tracker software for Windows
This update to OpenMPT 1.29 fixes a number of bugs and improves existing features. Here are the most important changes:
- When using the spinner next to the tempo box in the General Tab, tempo is now incremented and decremented in steps of 1 BPM in all formats. The old behaviour for MPTM - using a 0.1 BPM step size - is now applied when holding Shift (similar to 0.01 BPM steps when holding Ctrl).
- "Output To" plugin list now shows user-chosen name first, then library name.
- Renaming a plugin could become really slow the more plugins were loaded.
- OPL channel state (in particular currently used instrument) is now updated when seeking.
- Fixed a rare crash when trying to interpolate a column without a selection.
- Selecting a whole row by clicking on its row number didn't copy any channels left of the current scroll position.
- MIDI recording erroneously allowed writing smooth MIDI commands with formats that don't support this command.
- The Pattern Goto Dialog was not initialized correctly, not using the current pattern and order list location as intended.
- Pitch Shift can now also be applied to sample selections.
- Stereo 8SVX files are now supported.
- Converting a stereo sample to mono
B.Choppr cuts the audio input stream into a repeated sequence of up to 16 chops.

- Release to fix not all changes in being included
in v6.7.74. Version number was wrong too.
Radium is a music editor with a tracker and sequencer and mixer interface.
Changes 6.7.72 -> 6.7.74:
- Audio: Disable lots of debug outputs to the
terminal when modifying the audio graph. (Debug
and Delease mode were switched.) This also might
fix some audio glitches. - Windows: Fix garbled font rendering sometimes
happening in the editor. Bug introduced in v6.7.69.
(The problem existed before 6.7.69 too, but not
as often). - Internal: Fix a memory corruption introduced in
v6.6.77. The bug probably only manifested in
debug builds though, and not in any releases. - Internal: Fix semi-rare memory leak when showing a
system error message. - NSM: Fix error message popping up after startup.
- Editor: Fix transposing MIDI 7 bit automation when
pressing Left Alt + U or Left Alt + D and the
cursor was placed inside an fxtext subtrack. - MIDI: Fix crash when starting to play in the middle
of a song at a position where there is MIDI
automation in the editor. - Build: Update libgig from 3.3.0 to 4.2.0. Fixes
crash when loading some soundfonts.

Patroneo (which is Esperanto for "Pattern") is an easy to use, pattern based midi sequencer.
28 months after the first release (2018-09-15) the Laborejo Software Suite releases version 2.0.0 of Patroneo.
Patroneo (which is Esperanto for "Pattern") is an easy to use, pattern based midi sequencer, a program that sends digital "notes" to software instruments such as synthesizers and samplers.
You have tracks with one pattern each. Turn on steps in the pattern to play musical notes. Switch the patterns on and off in a sequence to create a song structure. Connect external synthesizers and samplers to create sounds.
Please see the attached screenshot.
The new features integrate seamlessly into the existing workflow.
Old save files can still be loaded.
1) Tracks can now have different pattern lengths, allowing much more complex music. For this a widget was added next to the track name.
2) Each individual Pattern can now have any number of pitches (was fixed to 8 pitches before)
3) The Loop range can now contain multiple measures. Added GUI control next to loop button. Reminder: Loop-range is for trial&error, not for production.
4) A swing slider for rhythm-groups of 2 and 4 is now available for that 90s Dance Feeling (or Swing!)
It is released under GPLv3.

LibraZiK is digital audio-software studio and related documentation, based on Debian Buster
No news on the blog since the January 30th post. A little more than three months then. Hope you weren't too scared!
The main reason is that I was in the LibraZiK-3 oven to fix (or try to fix) some annoying bugs (and most of them have been!) as well as to update the documentation.
In short, that's it, LibraZiK-3 is available for all users, French-speaking or not, and for amd64 (64-bit architecture) and i386 (32-bit PC architecture).

To start here, I'll begin with the acknowledgements: thank you very much to Nicolas "'sub26nico" for the huge amount of testing he did, helping me to move the work forward quickly.
