SonoBus is an easy to use application for streaming high-quality, low-latency peer-to-peer audio between devices over the internet or a local network.

Simply choose a unique group name (with optional password), and instantly connect multiple people together to make music, remote sessions, podcasts, etc. Easily record the audio from everyone, as well as playback any audio content to the whole group.

Connects multiple users together to send and receive audio among all in a group, with fine-grained control over latency, quality and overall mix. Includes optional input compression, noise gate, and EQ effects, along with a master reverb. All settings are dynamic, network statistics are clearly visible.

DrumGizmo is an open source, multichannel, multilayered, cross-platform drum plugin and stand-alone application. It enables you to compose drums in MIDI and mix them with a multichannel approach. It is comparable to that of mixing a real drumkit that has been recorded with a multimic setup.

QjackCtl is a simple Qt application to control the JACK sound server daemon, Written in C++ around the Qt framework for X11, most exclusively using Qt Designer.

Provides a simple GUI dialog for setting several JACK daemon parameters, which are properly saved between sessions, and a way control of the status of the audio server daemon. With time, this primordial interface has become richer by including a enhanced patchbay and connection control features.

QjackCtl is free, open-source software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later.

Laborejo (Esperanto: Workshop) is a MIDI sequencer based on classical music notation. Its main purpose is to compose and produce "traditional" music, such as instrumental pieces, soundtracks and other music normally played back by samplers.

Unlike other notation editors Laborejo is not meant primarily to print out sheets of notation but to create music for your computer: You get all the tools you know from other midi sequencers for maximum fine control to get exactly the music you want!

Working in Laborejo is very fast and efficient by using a combination of midi input and typing.

Freewheeling provides a highly configurable, intuitive, and fluid user interface for instrumentalists to capture audio loops in real-time.

Freewheeling allows us to build repetitive grooves by sampling and directing loops from within spirited improvisation. It works because, down to the core, it's built around improv. We leave mice and menus, and dive into our own process of making sound. The principle author of Freewheeling is JP Mercury. Freewheeling was also originally a Max/MSP external. Since 2016, it is maintained by the user community.

Jalv is a simple but fully featured LV2 host for JACK which exposes plugin ports to JACK, essentially making any LV2 plugin function as a JACK application.

Jalv is a small program which is useful, but also intended to be an appropriate test host for plugin development. It runs plugins from the command line with no user interaction, is light enough to run in valgrind, and is capable of dumping all communication between the plugin and its UI in a human readable format.

JMAGE Sampler is a Linux based sampler that can run as stand alone JACK application or as an LV2 Plugin. The goal of JMAGE Sampler is to be able to create many zoned, multi layered patches quickly from scratch, with all the controls up front and tweakable in real time.

What JMAGE Sampler is NOT is a disk streaming sampler. All samples are loaded in memory. JMAGE Sampler can read SFZ files, but only parses the fields it currently supports. There are NO guarantees that an arbitrary SFZ file will not crash the sampler, especially if the patch is intended for disk streaming.

Patches can be saved in SFZ or JMZ format, an extension to SFZ that also stores JMAGE Sampler specific fields. JMZ should be preferred for normal usage.

Wolf Shaper is a free, open-source distortion plugin that lets you create your own waveshaping functions using a spline-based graph editor. This tool makes the input signal more harmonically rich, which can be useful for sound design and mixing.
